Bike for God Grows to Calgary!

2010 Calgary Info

From Calgary

Bike for God started for Calgary in 2007. It took place on August 18th, one week before the ride in St. Albert. The following was their praise report on the success experienced in Calgary.

Dawn and Garry

Thank-you for your prayers. Yesterday was a wonderful day. We had the perfect weather and no problem with bikes or bikers. The kids had a fun and exciting time. We launched off at 9:20 after a group time of prayer. The last 6yr old rider came in at 12:15 with her mom. There was a total of 11 riders. Jaime from Samaritan's purse came with his 2 children and rode with the group. The Grand total that we raise was $1753.00 Which will be matched by North Point Community Church totaling $3506.00. We are so proud of all our riders and their effort in raising the sponsors. We pray that this will be a growing spark of Children with God's Purposes in Calgary. Thank-you for this awesome opportunity to be part of Bike for God. We will be praying for you during this week and for a wonderful day on Saturday.

Encourage the kids with the news of the Southern Bike for God and our prayer that each child will know how God wants to and has used them to impact the world with His love through their sacrifice and service.

God Bless.
Lisa & James
